congratulations uncles!!!

my dear and eli were away for a weekend to attend the ordination of my brothers-in-law to the priesthood and diaconate. jenalyn, joshua luke and I stayed behind but we cant wait to go as an entire family next year for another wonderful celebration. congratulations uncle Fr. joseph and uncle Decon jewel!!! we are soooo blessed to have you as our uncles!!!

joshua luke's Baptism

may 22nd. we couldnt have asked for a better Baptism. I love our small and private Baptisms celebrated by Fr. Francis. since the church was being used that day we were able to use the Adoration Chapel - the perfect size for our close family. but of course we did have a few "hiccups" during the ceremony...b/c it was in the chapel we had to find a bowl for the Holy water. we almost resorted to the kid's bucket we use for the park that was in the minivan, but luckly we found a bowl. next joshua luke had to do his "business" and needed a desperate diaper change midway through. after that we totally forgot about the Holy oils and had to take another "time out" to hunt for those. all and all it was a great day! welcome to the Church joshua luke!
