nothing exciting, just a post

after eli's birthday party, things around here have been pretty calm - the kiddies were sick the week of the party but are now better. they finally both got their shots (eli's one yr. and jenalyn's 2 yr.)

eli did have his allergist appt. and had an allergy test done, in a nutshell, he's allergic to everything! ok well we actually have to get some bloodwork done b/c when they did the skin prick test everything welted, as in everything! big ones were milk, egg and any bean, but since it all welted the allergist suspected dermographism - and sure enough eli has dermographism (basically he welts when he or anything scratches him) so for now, were staying away from those three things and hopefully when we get the lab tests done, we'll be more sure about the others. other than that, eli is doing well. he still is low on his weight (and height) but he is eating, he's gain 2oz in the past month (its better than nothing) and we're feeding him 4 meals a day plus snack and his bottle. so keep praying that he gets bigger.

jenalyn is doing great. we just enrolled her into My Gym on saturday mornings and shes lovin' it! we've only been there for 2 classes so far, but shes doing well. hesitant at first but once she feels out the place she has a ball. by the end of her first class she was following the instructions of the teacher and wanted to say "bye-bye" to her before she left. my dear and I are ecstatic that shes doing well, enjoying class and interacting with peers...now if only mommy could do that back roll thing with jenalyn on my lap, that would be great! (if you dont know what Im talking about, lets just say Im a weakling and cant do a simple toddler exercise!)

hmm...what else? oh and we're moving (again) to a bigger place, so these next 2 weeks its time to clean and clear out junk! Im hoping my rule of "if we havent used it in the last year, then its time to donate it!" will abide. this would be the 3rd time the donation center will be here to pick up stuff (I wonder what they're thinking - as in 'these people have way too much stuff') Im also hoping with this new place, I'll be starting "fresh" with everything. being more organized is my main goal, not just with our new place, but with life in general, granted as organized as a mom-of-a-1&2-yr-old can be. (ok so now that Ive actually typed that, I better stick to it. I'll update as I go along)

other than that - thats all thats been going on. hope all the mothers reading my blog had a wonderful mothers day. mine was nice and simple: starting with a surprise cup of starbucks, Mass, lunch and home for an afternoon full of Little Einsteins with my loving family...ahh, the good life. couldnt ask for anything more!
