Easter Sunday

the weather couldnt have been more perfect for our Easter Sunday. we started our day with Mass, although we were super early - apparently not early enough to get a seat, so we had to stand in the back outside (but I guess thats ok since jenalyn found it entertaining to watch her shadow and the lizards that ran across the pavement).
after Mass we headed over to lola's house for a mini egg hunt and pictures. basically I scattered playdoh-filled eggs around the front yard and took pics of the "hunt". it wasnt much of a hunt once auntie jamie brought out the bubbles - now that was a crowd pleaser. we snapped a couple of shots but then headed over to our aunties's house for the Easter lunch and big egg hunt.
now we're talking...money-filled eggs! eli "found" the coveted $20 bill egg and another $5 egg. jenalyn found a $1 egg, but hey, we'll take it (I mean, she'll take it!) after the hunt, jenalyn took it upon herself to try her hand at the putting green - hey look grandpa, we can hit some balls when you come to visit next week. -
and since it was such a nice day, we headed over to the park to spend the rest of the afternoon...nothing like going up and down the slide a few hundred times to get two kiddies tired! hope y'all had as wonderful an Easter as we had!
