at the top! for those keeping track (me included, b/c sometimes even i forget!) and in a month we'll find out if jenalyn and eli will have a baby sister or brother!

my mommy group at the pumpkin patch

earlier this month my mommy group decided to have a nice little get together at a cute little pumpkin patch park. we all had a great time and it was so nice to see everybody since we dont "get together" too often. the first four pics are complements of my friend staci. (thanks staci!) enjoy!

so we tried stickers instead...

since glueing isnt a favored craft - what about good 'ol stickers...

these foam ones were much easier to peel than the flat ones and I just let them go to town...no rhyme or reason, but next time I'll try to find some scenery so the stickers have a purpose...

and after all the stickers were stuck: fort time!

crafting some pumpkins

so I wanted to try "glueing" again. jenalyn really doesnt care for it, but I tried. but she did color the pumpkins and for the most part stayed within the circle. eli was more interested in the glue containers themselves...we'll try again another day.

oh as for the glueing, that was me! except for the stems on the big ones, she did try those...

the fair!

it was a hot day! but since we were lucky to get in for free, we managed the heat. (thanks AJ and family for the tickets, it was so nice of you)we had such a good time with our friends and their families.
daddy and the kiddies wating for our friends to arrive.

for a good portion of the day we spent inside the play area where the kiddies could play with blocks, trains, lincoln logs, pretend fishing and a play kitchen. jenalyn loved the play kitchen and stayed there the majority of the time. (which is odd b/c she uses the play kitchen/diner at home as a jugle gym rather than a kitchen). eli spent his time with the older boys playing with the trains. oh how eli loves playing with those boys! didnt get that on film, but did manage a pic of the girls playing.

next we headed over the the farm animals...cows, pigs, sheep, horses and jenalyn's fav of the day "chicken eggies!"

after luch we were pretty muched drained from the heat - but we were all determined to eat some "deep fried" fair food - so we were on a mission. oh the choices we're endless...I ended up getting fried avacados and trying fried reeces pb cups. the avacados were yummy. reeces were rich. and Im bumbed I didnt try the snickers, oreo and smores. and the krispy kream chicken sandwich looked interesting. ahhh...maybe next time. but it was so darn hot for fried food!
jenalyn opted for the smarter choice - ice cream!

grandma, can we have these?

jenalyn will grow into them eventually...

sorry for the delay

Ive just been tired and when Im not tired Im trying to catch up with things i put off when I am tired...so I'll try to recap as much as possible.

about me and my mini cinnibun: had a ultrasound a few weeks ago and I was measuring at 10 weeks (although I should only be 9wk 1 day, so tomorrow I'll see what my OB has to say about changing my due date or not) here's a pic:

the kiddies: all is well, we had a wonderful visit from grandma and grandpa, and the kiddies love them. eli couldnt get enough of grandpa, perhaps its a "guy thing". we had a nice outting at the pier with grandpa and my cousins, but I do wish that grandma was there too (she was having fun at the party we ditched to go to the pier!)

we had some funnel cake - yes, there is funnel cake beneath all that ice cream, straw
berries, whip cream, and fudge! and proud to say my cousin and I ate the whole thing (ok so we couldnt shove in one last bite, but we did pretty well!)

a family shot...

time to go home, aand wheres eli, you ask? somewhere with grandpa...
